MADISON NONOA IS IN HIGH DEMAND THROUGHOUT EUROPE!

"2022 was a busy and exciting year. I made my professional debut with Opera National du Rhin in Strasbourg as Barry Koskie's Maria in West Side Story, recorded a set of motet's for Chineke! Voices' Lusitano project, made my Edinburgh International Festival and Wigmore Hall debuts and took up my first work as a leading role cover with English National Opera. I also made a few role debuts, including one as Galatea in Handel's 'Acis & Galatea' in the International London Handel Festival. This year I am making my Salzburg International Festival debut as 'Amore' in Orfeo alongside Cecilia Bartoli who will sing Orfeo. I had the honour of auditioning for Cecilia late last year, whilst I was performing the role of 'Dido' in Deborah Warner's Ustinov Studio production of Dido and Aeneas for Theatre Royal Bath. After my work in Salzburg concludes, I am heading home to perform the role of 'Amore' in NZ Opera's '(M)Orpheus'. I am really REALLY excited to head home and for this year of 'Amore (Love)' ahead!- Madison Nonoa
